History

Executive Travel is a Lincoln, Nebraska based business that was formed in 1986 by Steve and Marie Glenn. The company has been one of the fastest growing travel management businesses in the United States. Steve Glenn, Chairman of the Board and CEO of Executive Travel, has been one of the country’s most visionary travel industry leaders, with extensive industry knowledge and expertise in local, regional, national and global travel management. Executive Travel broke the call center mold and pioneered the strategy of agents working virtually over 20 years ago. This has allowed us to have agents working across the nation to provide easy access and prompt service no matter where your business takes you, while working to reduce the overall costs of travel.

In addition to providing travel services for over 25 years, Executive Travel is also an affiliate of BCD Travel.  BCD Travel is a progressive, worldwide travel management firm, with more than 3,000 locations across the globe.  Executive Travel has also partnered with Virtuoso for vacation travel.  Virtuoso is the travel industry’s leading vacation travel network, which is exclusively by invitation-only.  Additionally, Executive Travel has been approved by the Airlines Reporting Corporation and the International Airlines Travel Agent Network, and several other travel industry organizations, such as Global Business Travel Association.

Through partnerships with customers, employees, suppliers and the community, we strive to add value for each one in order to build life-long relationships. We are committed to being recognized for excellence, integrity and innovation in our chosen field of travel management, including sales and service.

Our five key partnerships include customers, employees, suppliers, technology and communities.  Each of these partnerships is essential to making our services optimal, but also in achieving the best results each time you choose us for your travel needs.  Flexibility and cost-effective solutions are all directly affected by these partnerships and we want to ensure that these results are not only consistent, but extended to our customers each and every time they book with us.

Since consistency and quality is so important, it’s imperative that we keep a steady pulse on our results.  We do this by conducting quarterly customer satisfaction surveys, with our latest survey results showing a 98% satisfaction rating.
